GOLD FARMING ON ROCKETSWAP

GOLD farming has arrived on Rocketswap!

You may already be familiar with “staking” or “farming” on Rocketswap as it relates to RSWP tokens. The RSWP token emissions from farming are core to a fair distribution of tokens for the Rocketswap AMM — see their medium.

GOLD has adopted a similar model, and by teaming up with Rocketswap have implemented several “GOLD FARMS” to distribute 16B GOLD tokens (remaining 40% of supply previously controlled by the GOLD team).

These farms will start emitting GOLD tokens this Saturday at 22:00 UTC.

All Rocketswap farms will be found under the “FARM” tab as seen below. This 16B distribution will be split between the following:

GOLD — GOLD: 2,000,000,000 (2B)**

GOLD LP — GOLD: 9,000,000,000 (9B)*

RSWP — GOLD: 2,000,000,000 (2B)**

RSWP LP — GOLD: 1,500,000,000 (1.5B)*

EXTERNAL PROJECT RESERVE — GOLD: 1,500,000,000 (1.5B)**

*LP FARMING DISTRIBTION WILL TAKE PLACE OVER 25 WEEKS

**TOKEN-TOKEN FARMING WILL TAKE PLACE OVER 36 WEEKS

Emissions from each of these farms will ramp up over a 4 week period and will stabilize at week 5 until the end of the distribution timeline.

If you are new to farming or just need a refresher, I’ll explain the difference between single asset staking and LP staking.

The GOLD – GOLD farm is single asset. To earn GOLD you must hold GOLD. You can enter as much of your GOLD as you want into the farming contract on Rocketswap. You will be emitted your share of tokens relative to the total amount in that contract.

GOLD LP – GOLD has another layer to it. Here you are not submitting GOLD to the contract, rather the LP “Pool Tokens” issued to you when you enter into the GOLD:TAU Liquidity Pool. Again the amount of tokens you earn in each farm is relative to the total tokens or pool tokens in each farm/contract.

These farms should be visible on Rocketswap within the next few days. So run your numbers and see which farm will earn you the most GOLD.
